Saying Goodbye...

In loving memory of ...

Shadow

October 1995 - August 29, 2010

You were ours to hold for but a time.

A loyal friend, a member of our family.

You watched our home, protected our children.

And loved us as we loved you.

We were blessed when God gave us you.

Didn't want to say goodbye,

but knew the time had come.

Rest now dear friend,

and know you'll be in our hearts forever.

We'll miss you, precious teddy bear.

Yu have brought tears to my eyes. I've loved and lost two beloved pets and now have a fifteen year old granddog and know that he won't be with our family much longer. To love deeply is to risk loss but it's worth the pain. Your wonderful memories are forever with you, so your beloved pet lives in your heart as long as you live. Linda

I'm taking a break from rushing to finish a short story for submission by Wednesday, and in this break I skim e-mails and digests because I do not have time to read and reply. However, I cannot pass up a sweet story about a beloved pet. Your pet is gorgeous, and I sympathize with your loss. Celia

Oh, Tina. Shadow's pictures are wonderful - I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I cried when I lost each one of my dogs - it's so hard.

We're never ready to say goodbye to our beloved furry canine members of the family. I can feel your sadness and shed tears for your loss. I'm so sorry. What a beautiful creature God made for you to care for during his time on earth. You will have beautiful memories too share and those wonderful pictures to remind you of his precious life. God is with you and yours now, holding you in his arms of comfort. To God be the glory for such a beautiful being.

Sharing God's Love,
Barb Shelton
